We will present at the Budapest Music Center our old/new album through discussions, performances and lecture. The album was recorded in 2003 but released only now. It was a collaboration between 20 Hungarian composers and poets, several singers/actors and a mixed genre chamber ensemble at the Bárka Theater in Budapest.

I was invited to open with a short Soundpainting session the Austrian Musictheater Days conference. It will be mostly on the multidisciplinary nature of Soundpainting, and we will have endless fun.
an intense day of Soundpainting, starting at 11 am with a workshop for participating musicians, followed in the evening by an open workshop together with the audience, and ending with a public concert based on short sketches by the participating composers. All at the magical castel of Fehérvárcsurgó in Hungary.

I give a workshop for students of composition and jazz department of the Béla Bartók Conservatory Budapest, as a preparation for participating with some of them at the Altalena Contemporary Music Days at the castel of Fehérvárcsurgó in Hungary on sept 12th. Great fun!
I will be a guest at the Bélaműhely for their performance “conductorgame” in Vienna at the Kultursommer. We will have a family programme, where anyone can conduct our ensemble playing super innovative instruments made by recycled materials.
What a great pleasure to take part again at the creative, cross-cultural educational programm of the artist-association, the IKult, (International Cultural Plattform) at the Castle of Raabs an der Thaya in Waldviertel, Austria for children from all over the world.

W.H. performs Shakespeare pieces at the József Katona Theater in Budapest Ádám Nádasdy literary scholar and poet as well as several amazing actors of the theater. It will be a blast!

We will play at the Orbit Festival in Köln the extended/updated version of Hostage Opera (a.k.a. Geiseloper /Túszopera). We collaborate always with local instrumental ensemble as well as a group of local choir. This time Lola Rubio, Dorrit Bauerecker, Elisabeth Coudoux, Jordan White and the Vocal Painting Köln. I am very happy that this can happen.

5 transitions connects the pieces of the concert program about the ordered chaos. A wide spectrum of different composition is connected to the theme, and together with the members of the Chaos String Quartet we created small transitioning compositions for this evening.

A new edition of the Viennese no-festival is coming with the title Dirty Hands. This year we had a wider board of curators. Festival is an event of the more-than-100 years old Austrian section of the International Society of Contemporary Music.

I will spend some days in Marrakesh at the amazing Riad al Massarah´s Art Residency program. I am very grateful, that they offer this possibility for artists from all over the globe. I will keep my ears, eyes and mind open to get a deeper sense of inspiration throughout these days.

I will moderate an introductory event with and about the unique work of the Viennese jazz trio Dsilton at the Opus Jazz Club.
“Chronicle from the time of the great refugee crisis” is the subtitle of our new Musiktheater piece, which was written and directed by Peter Fabian at the National Theater of Szeged. Music is composed for a performing mixed choir in Greek, Arabic, Hebrew, Latin, English, German, French and Hungarian. Piece is very roughly based on the ancient greek drama The Suppliants by Aeschylus.
