Towards Completeness (1945) is a short poetical prose by Sándor Weöres. My father, Daniel Gryllus wrote music of some of its sentences. He recorded all of the parts himself in the 1980´s. It was published for the 60th birthday of the poet. In 2010, when my father turned to 60 I re-arranged his work for his friends and colleagues, all of them are for me iconic figures of the contemporary Hungarian world-music-scene (whatever this category means:)

We will spend a week in the magical place of Santiago de Compostela, Spain with Walter Thomson, enjoying the hospitality of the great soundpainter and bass player Xacobe Martínez Antelo. I am very exited to be part of this year´s Think Tank.

Piece is very roughly based on the ancient greek drama The Suppliants by Aeschylus, where most of the scenes were written by the director Peter Fabian, based on interviews about the so called “refugee-crisis” in Hungary 2015.
