An event full of fun and fascinating rhythm based on the works of Joseph Haydn re-arranged with all the tools of the Soundpainting language at the Kultursommer festival in Vienna.
A new theater play including my music written for mixed choir will have its first presentation before its premier at the end of the season. Piece will be played from october at the National Theater of Szeged. Piece is very roughly based on the ancient greek drama The Suppliants by Aeschylus, where most of the scenes were written by the director Peter Fabian, based on interviews about the so called “refugee-crisis” in Hungary 2015.

The magnifique Studio Dan asked me to write linear notes for their album dedicated to the music of my beloved teacher Anthony Braxton. among them his composition 107. I ended up with 107 partly poetic phrases, each referring to the pieces of the album. At their concert I will read and recite this text in collaboration with improvising instrumentalists of the ensemble.
A set of shorter, postcard like pieces created upon the commission of the Viennese Janus Ensemble led by Christoph Cech. It is a new collaboration, although I had a chance to work with some of the instrumentalists earlier. I am very excited about the results.

Waldsee is a fictive vilage, never existed, only as location of registration, and mentioned as a safe and pieceful place on those postcards. These postcards were in real life sent out from Auswitz-Birkenau by the prisoners on command. 80 years later gallery 2B in Budapest asked artists, writers and composers, to create reflective works to the original exhibited postcards. They recorded Lapok, among others pieces, and it can be listened through a headphone as part of the exhibition.
