I will moderate an introductory event with and about the unique work of the Viennese jazz trio Dsilton at the Opus Jazz Club.
We will give an interactive introduction to the event of the Danish Scenatet at the Transparent Sound Festival.
The great Chaos String Quartet will have a fantastic evening with the pianist Máté Pozsár at the House of Music Hungary. They will play several improvised pieces as well as pieces of the classical and new music repertoire, but we also will talk about issues of different musical languages nad their creative approach, as well as having some easy musical excercises together with the audience. I will be some sort of host of the evening and navigate through the different parts of the program.
aNOther Festival is led by Weiya Lin and Johannes Kretz, great friends and long time collaborators they started the festival almost 15 years ago as an activity of our little Vienna based community, the IKult Associations. In the recent years I am part of the curatorial board again. Every edition has a rich and very diverse program around one theme or idea. I am very happy to be part of this movement. I will present the HoME HOUSE installation and the excellent percussion player Marton Szives will premiere the new work Hands - Monument VI dedicated to him, both these on the second days of the festival at Gallery Hinterland.
Final performance of our project in Barcelona. Pieces will be played by the Barcelona Modern Ensemble.
Since 2010 the iKULT association, where I am also a member, organizing the festival, under the leadership of my great friends Weiya Lin and Johannes Kretz. This year I had the chance to take a bit more part in the curating and organisational process. There will be truly great independent art-events. Happy to be part of it again.
A further presentation of the closing series of the project will happen in Budapest. We will have here the outdoor installation as well as the full exhibition and the final performance with the UMZE Chamber Ensemble.
We have a second evening of presentations at the Musiktheatertage Wien, with among others the artists of the Opera Aperta, and Georg Steker, one of the artistic leaders of the festival.
A presentation of all outputs of our three years long project. Our outdoor installation (a.k.a. HoME-House), the HoME-Exhibition as well as the final musictheater performance in cooperation with the Viennese Black Page Orchestra will be all presented at the Musiktheatertage Wien @ Brut Vienna
The final performance of the three years long European project is finally happening. We cooperate with the Ensembl 2K+ in Novi Sad
We work one week on the final stage of our project house.music.europe. It will be a sort of a music-theater piece for chamber ensemble and soloists / performers. To be premiered in the autumn in all four participating countries.
I play bass with Ulrich´s metal project with great Hungarian friends in Budapest. This concert is part of his residency I was curating in Budapest and Vienna.
