Premiers in the first half of the Season 24
/25
Several collaborations will come to their world premiers in the next months. Chaos String Quartet will play our collaborative creation the Beethoven Elections in Bonn, MiKaMo will play Ensemble Intermissions in Budapest, Bratislava and Vienna, Waldsee Postcard Piece will be performed, and recorded for the traveling exhibition of the 2B Gallery, Janus Ensemble will perform the Neue Ansichtskartengruß. With Studio Dan we will perform a text of mine written for their album dedicated to the music of Anthony Braxton, Katalin Koltai will give an interactive lecture in London based on our earlier collaboration, entitled krr,dmm,taaa… and Tara Khozein will perform a piece of mine soon. In 2023 and 2024 I am part of a great international cooperation between three universities from Budapest, Vienna and Berlin. We (stundents and mantors) are forming a laptop ensemble and play original electroacoustic pieces based on composition methods of György Ligeti

Creative (mis)understandings
is an artistic research project of the University for Music and Performing Art, Vienna (MDW) in 2018-2021 about the methodologies of inspiration throughout intercultural communication between Vienna and the island of Lanyu. We will show you the results of the research in 2021.

A teljesség felé
“Towards completeness” is a song-cycle composed by my father, Daniel Gryllus, based on the prose-text by Sándor Weöres. It was recorded by himself playing all instruments in 1988. I rearranged these pieces for my father´s 60th birthday to a chamber orchestra and many great singers, colleagues and friends.

Festival 2020
Seventh edition of the Transparent Sound New Music Festival. 2020 January 7-20.
A new video of the slam-poetry group and the DIY acoustic instrument maker collective is out. I was part of the creative team by forming the composition and played a unique string insturment called Hordonka, made of oil can and bamboo.
Doctoral Degree
After the successful thesis defense I received a doctoral degree (DLA) at the University of Theater and Film Arts in Budapest on 6/7/2019

A new release of mine in the Weekend EP series on Bandcamp. Composers has to start and finish their work for the project within 72 hours. It is a challenge. A dystopean typewriter, and three good friends helped me out.

Premiere of a new piece for 12 choirs of the district Pesterzsébet of Budapest. Piece based on the poems by Szabó T. Anna. A commission of the hundred years old Csili Cultural Center.
